Katrina comes from a television & radio production background with an adaptable and transferrable set of skills. In her previous job as a news presenter and the host of a live breakfast television show she is experienced and comfortable with live open talkback, live interviews, scripted and unscripted presentations and autocue.
She has not only a keen sense of timing and professionalism but an attention to detail that fits easily within her ability to see the entirety of a show and how all its components must gel.
This applies to both client facing and crew interactions. Katrina has a strict but approachable style of showcalling that has made her first choice for international production companies and multi-million pound clients. She runs a tight ship but is a fierce advocate for crew safety and thrives under the pressure of the intricate calls required for large complex shows. Her motto is: Prepare Prepare and Prepare some more and is mentally always three steps ahead of any challenges that may arise. Katrina prides herself on gaining the respect of both crew and client and constantly strives to learn more about each technical aspect of production with every show.
Her most notable clients include Light Fantastic Production Services, Perception Live, Aztec Production & JL Lighting Inc and Broadsword for whom she has staged managed and called shows for clients like Amazon Prime, Specsavers, The Financial Times, Lionsgate + and Heinekin UK.
